No, you do not need a GP referral to book a scan at Serenity Ultrasound. We are a self-referral clinic, meaning you can book directly with us online or by phone at a time that suits you.
How do I prepare for my ultrasound scan?
Preparation varies depending on the type of scan. For pregnancy and abdominal scans, you may be asked to attend with a full bladder. For other scans, no specific preparation is usually required. Full instructions will be provided when you book your appointment.
How long does a scan appointment take?
Most scan appointments take between 20 and 45 minutes depending on the type of scan. We always allow enough time to carry out a thorough examination and answer any questions you may have.
Will I receive my results on the day?
